Janine Hardial (she/her) is a graduate of UBC’s Medical School and Family Medicine Program in Vancouver on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
She has always had an interest in maternity care and has had the privilege of welcoming many babies into the world throughout the Lower Mainland before settling down at BC Women’s Hospital with the Family Practice Maternity Service in 2013. She currently practices maternity and family care at the Sheway clinic in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, a specialized program for pregnant people who use substances and their young families, and she also practices maternity care at Centro Medical in East Vancouver.
She loves spending time with her family, including her 2 children that were both born at BC Women’s Hospital, particularly in the beautiful outdoors.
