Dr. Glattstein-Young was born in Vancouver but grew up in sunny Osoyoos on Okanagan territory. After completing post-graduate studies overseas, she returned to Canada for medical school and to complete her residency in UBC’s Indigenous Family Medicine program. She divides her time practicing full scope family medicine in Vancouver with a special focus on Indigenous health, working as a maternity doctor on South Granville and on the perinatal addiction ward at BC Women’s Hospital. Dr. Glattstein-Young continues to find wonder in each new birth and feels such honour to be a part of the journey into parenthood.
Outside of the hospital, you can find her chasing after her young son, at the pool, or enjoying a meal with family and friends.
