Elise grew up in Toronto. She studied medicine at the University of Ottawa and then came to Vancouver for her residency training at UBC. She has been working in Vancouver since 2008 where she has a family medicine practice in addition to addictions care with her outreach in the downtown eastside. She enjoys dancing, theatre, hiking, snowboarding, curling, cooking and eating good food.
