Moira (she/her) grew up and completed medical school in Toronto, in the traditional territory of the Anishnabeg, Haudenosaunee, Wendat, Mississauga, and Chippewa nations. She moved to British Columbia to pursue residency training in Family Medicine at St. Paul’s Hospital, in unceeded Coast Salish territory. Her ancestry is Scottish and French. She practices medicine in English.
Moira’s clinical practice includes full scope family medicine, low-risk obstetrics, and addictions medicine. She shares her time between 8th Avenue Family and Maternity Care in Fairview, and Sheway Maternity Clinic in the Downtown Eastside, which provides wraparound social and medical support for people using substances during pregnancy and their families.
Moira continues to be amazed by the many transitions (big and small!), the moments of humor, and the depth of love that come with welcoming a child into the world. She is honoured to walk with you as you go down this path.
Outside of clinic, you can find Moira biking or trail running in any sort of weather, soaking up time with family and friends, puttering in the garden, or enjoying a good cup of coffee.
